So I have previously opened a shop up on here completely for FREE !
What I wanna know is how many people need graphic design ? I wanna see how active it is still and if it's active enough for me to open up shop , if you do need anything though for now PM me thanks guys .

A few things wrong with this thread in specific and a couple of things worth noting.

Lacking documentation of work
  • Something as simple as a portfolio to showcase your work would attract some attention.
    • Behance
    • Deviant
    • Personalized showcase portfolio (usually applicable with people on web application design)
    • If you still have a link to your old shop post that.


Audience Attraction
  • You generally don't want to make a thread to check activity.
    • Asking a question could be misleading. Not many people respond on these sort of topics.
    • This could be deterring in a way. You don't want to look like you'll just close shop because enough people don't stop and ask.
    • Professionalism applies here

  • Plenty of people need designing and it's essentially up to you to promote yourself out there somehow; whether that be you offering it to threads looking for work or doing as above and building yourself a portfolio.
    • I am sure you've seen what i mean by this. Scroll through the recent threads at times and you'll see the more established users offering to do work. It's up to you to get yourself in there because you never know if they are rejected on their service or not.
