Hey, I was playing GTA4 singleplayer with mods, trainers installed and I looked through the trainer options and it said unlock all achievements so I pressed it and I thought it was steam achievements but it was Xbox live and now I have got +1.500 gamerscore. Could I possibly get banned from Xbox Live?

Not sure how you got the whole Xbox & Steam thing confused but in this day in age i doubt anything will happen.. Maybe back in 2010 but generally Microsoft has lost interest in 360 stuff unless its major.

I didn't know what channel to put this as i got the game on steam but as I got the xbox gamerscore for pc games through GFWL and my xbox profile went up 1.500 gamerscore i thought to put it in the Xbox channel and looknig through other posts from like 2014 and im worried i could get banned now?

I'm pretty sure microsoft dropped support for games for windows live not too long ago.. But as i said you should be fine the games over 10 years old they most likely wont care about it now lol.

There is always a chance of getting banned when using 3rd party/modding tools. However, Microsoft have seemed to ignore the intent to ban/reset gamerscore for the past 2years. I am fairly certain that your Account will be fine and have nothing to worry about.
