There are many different ways to get a lot of X360 stock such as: eBay, Gumtree, Wholesalers, cEx, Donations etc. If you're pretty hands on and know what you're doing, which in this case you should know.

You can even buy consoles that have RROD and repair them and still make a solid profit off of them. My personal opinion considering I used to mod PS3's and X360's, would be to not bother with a service based on modding the old gens.

I would start looking at stock for the current gens and buy the originals and day ones as these are the consoles that will most likely to be modified in the near future.

If you can build a stock up for these consoles, then you will be tripling your profits when current gen becomes mod able online. You can even start a service where you do cut outs/custom case designs as well if you really wanted to?

It all depends on how far your willing to take your service and what you would like to provide and that someone else may not already be providing.
