| I logged into bo1 just a few minutes ago to see that there's over 1.1M people on the game right now. Does anyone else know if this is just a glitch or maybe someone's messing the with servers? I know there cant be this many people on this game anymore. |

There's not a chance BO1 servers have 1 Million people online, maybe 15k people or lower at least. It's a glitch for sure. Treyarch hasn't updated the issue on Reddit or Twitter so maybe the number is correct but who knows?

| sadly no the numbers were inflated really badly before it even went backwards compatible so its nothing to do with that either. It has been over 1 million at all times so even late hours when games number normally drop for the past year or so. Click the find game and add up all the playlist including party games for real numbers and then go to Zombies and do that for those modes as well you will be surprised how low it actually is. I am not sure private matches get taken into account in zombies but if you only add up about 80-90k don't assume that another 910k are playing private match zombies or I don't think Combat training is taken in effect or private matches there either. but 910k people are defs not in combat training, mp private matches, or zombies private matches most likely sorry to disappoint.... |

| I personally believe that it may have to do with frozen player count. Say someone hops onto Multiplayer/zombies the number adds into how many people are online, but rather than going down when they get off it sticks to the player count. I may be wrong, but this seems like the most reasonable explanation. |
