| Hey, well recently i'm looking a laptop for editing videos without premiere pro lags me when i put effects like color grading, etc. I would love buying a desktop ( HP Z8 or HP Z800) but my budged is a little bit low and i'm only 17 yrs old so i looking for options. I've been searching on google and youtube but i don't know what laptops are really good for video editing!! |

| I wouldn't suggest buying a laptop for video editing. Odds are you won't need to edit on the go, and most desktops can beat flagship laptops. If you absolutely need a laptop, you should probably try to find a used one that has higher specs. You can also increase the performance of your current computer by lowering the resolution of footage, pre-rending, creating swap storage, using fewer effects, or changing video codecs. |

yeah, I kept looking for options and now I am convinced that the best thing to edit videos is a much more powerful computer than a laptop. For now i don't know which desktop is better for editing but i will keep looking for one
