Have a look at this, a little more information is always useful.
PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($119.99 @ Walmart) CPU Cooler: CRYORIG M9 Plus 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($38.72 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($72.98 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($52.99 @ Amazon) Storage: PNY CS900 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($26.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Hitachi Ultrastar 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($34.95 @ Amazon) Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 570 4 GB RS XXX Video Card ($99.99 @ Newegg) Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($44.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 CM 500 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($78.99 @ SuperBiiz) Total: $570.59 nothing fancy with the SSD/Additional storage. Just within budget. I have a cs900 as a boot drive and it works perfectly fine for that, you could throw a few games on there for quicker loading times. The HDD is just for mass storage of other things; while still being viable for loading games on and off of. You could lower the price by swapping the 2600 out for a 1200. Getting a smaller kit of RAM could also lower the price a bit; the 570 listed pairs well with most ryzen chips in fairness. It's a good entry-low end mid card(runs most things on high you throw at it). Especially for the price it has been sat at for a while now they're worth it. dropping the CPU down a notch, less ram, different motherboard. Saves a good chunk of the budget. You could go further by dropping the PSU down to something bronze rated. PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 GHz Quad-Core Processor ($61.82 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($57.99 @ Amazon) Memory: Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($29.99 @ Newegg) Storage: PNY CS900 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($26.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Hitachi Ultrastar 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($34.95 @ Amazon) Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 570 4 GB RS XXX Video Card ($99.99 @ Newegg) Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($44.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 CM 500 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($78.99 @ SuperBiiz) Total: $435.71 assuming you're okay with stretching the budget out; PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 3.2 GHz 8-Core Processor ($162.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($72.98 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($52.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Kingston A400 240 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($29.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Hitachi Ultrastar 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($34.95 @ Amazon) Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 570 4 GB RS XXX Video Card ($99.99 @ Newegg) Case: Cougar MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 CM 500 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($78.99 @ SuperBiiz) Total: $577.86 Peripheral wise it really comes down to preference; i'll link a few of the products i've used over the years pretty extensively with no real issues. Not including a mouse due to everyone having different preferences in hand shape. I haven't used a headset in years so if anything i would see what others have to say there.
