I have half a sleeve and more tattoos dotted around and they were fine pain wise but I recently got my hand done and fingers I got a big rose and my daughter name and that was a very painful couple hours.
My question is where are your guys tattoos and did it hurt?

Really quick I want to put this here in case anyone is wanting to get a tattoo and is looking for some relaxation of "pain areas."

This, is bullshit. Don't listen to this guide at all, it's utter shit. Every person's body is different, places that may be sensitive to you, may not be to others. A person's pain tolerance and threshold are all different. It may ease a person looking at something they can relate pain to, which is fine, but trying to measure your pain to someone else, especially when it becomes an estimated grouping, all it does it make people worry more. I've seen people buckle under and cry like a child from getting their forearm tattoo, whereas people have gotten their inner thighs tattooed without even a single flinch and I used to literally bum around my local tattoo shop as the piercer there and I are good friends, so I've sat in/around a couple hundred tattoos. I've seen all sorts of people react to tattoos and I can tell anyone right now, if you looked at that image and got scared away from a tattoo, it's bullshit. Most tattoo artists will even let you do a test area with no ink in the tattoo gun so you can see how the needle feels if you're actually worried/curious.

With that out of the way, so far none of my tattoos have been a huge pain problem for me. They've for the most part felt like cat scratches or if you when you were a kid, used to rub your arm really quick with a nail/push pin with people to see who bleeds first, that's how it felt (probably some shitty urban thing we used to do in Russia.) Anyways, I am getting my right arm sleeved sometime in October/November and that I expect to hurt like a bitch. I apparently have some sort of nerve damage going on in my right arm all of a sudden, where if I punch it, the thing just flares up. That is also the arm I've broken the most as a kid and the underside going towards my armpit for some reason has always been very tender feeling from those injuries. So that tattoo I expect is my first one to actually hurt. I'm both looking forward to the tattoo and not looking forward to it lol

My girlfriend got her hand done and took it like a champ, the only thing worse I would imagine is the elbow or maybe the ribs.

I'm basing this solely off what multiple people have told me.
