I am planning to build my first pc in the near future and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to improve it. The build costs £1100 and the maximum I'm willing to spend is £1200. I already have a 1080p 144hz monitor.

CPU - Ryzen 7 3700X

Cooler - Coolermaster Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition

Motherboard - MSI B450 Tomahawk

Memory - Corsair Vengeance LPX 8gb x2 3000mhz

Storage - Seagate Barracuda 2tb and Adata Ultimate 128gb SSD

GPU - Zotac GeForce RTX 2060

PSU - Coolermaster MWE Gold 650W Fully Modular

That build doesn't float with me

If you're gonna get an aftermarket cooler for the CPU, get the Be Quiet! Dark Rock 4. I'd probably just use the included cooler with the CPU though, at least for now.

For GPU, keep an eye on RTX 2070's. Some good deals on those now that the RTX Super cards have launched. I'd also keep an eye out for RX 5700XT's because those offer similar performance to an RTX 2070 and AIB partner 5700XT's should be available soon now. Just don't buy a 5700XT with that shitty reference cooler.

If you wanna spend the extra 100 quid for the R7 3700x, then you can. I probably wouldn't, since you won't notice much difference(if any) in games. If you're going to utilise the extra cores/threads then you might be better with an R7 2700(x) as there are some ridiculously good deals on those currently.
