What is your budget?
Current budget is 2000$ CAD can go over if necessary Monitor? Would like a 144hz keyboard? I do need a keyboard mouse? No I have one already What will you use the PC for? Mainly for gaming might do some streaming. |

The X470 Gaming Pro Carbon will do the job if you can't get the X570 TUF, but you'll have to ask wherever you purchase it from to update the BIOS. The Samsung JG52 is a great monitor for the price. However, it does not have adaptive sync which is a bit of a bummer. If you want Freesync, there are a couple of good options, but they're ~$150 more; ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/p4Wfr...ix-mag27cq ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/g6dxF...itor-px329 RTX 2060 Super will let you play comfortably at 1440p144Hz with optimised settings. However, the RX 5700XT can be had for around the same price(or less) and is more in line with RTX 2070/2070 Super performance. The reference cooler on the 5700XT is pretty trash though, so I would be waiting for board partner cards which should start coming out in the next 2-4 weeks. Alternatively, now the RTX Super cards have been released, the old RTX 2070 stock can be found going pretty cheap. If you can get an RTX 2070 close to $550CAD, that wouldn't be a bad shout either. I've included a 512GB SSD, but you'll probably want to add an HDD for mass storage. Just grab a 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda in whichever capacity you require. I haven't included a cooler, the included cooler with the 3700x will be fine. It might get a bit toasty, especially if you overclock but it will be sufficient. You might want to upgrade the cooler at some point, but you can do it later. Something like this would be a nice upgrade from the stock cooler; ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/FRYLr...oler-bk021 or you could go for a 240/280mm AIO if you like. |
