So I work at a grocery store where our customer base is primarily college students because our store is located near a ton of student dorms for a local university. Many students paying their way through college use EBT because they have little to not money to spare. I totally respect it in this case, but when it comes to many foreign students generally its a whole different story. Many foreign students move to my town and their parents buy they nice apartments/houses and fancy sports cars. They come to the store in their G-Wagons, Ferrari's, Maserati's, you name it, as well as their very expensive clothing. They grab their groceries and when it finally comes to checkout, they use EBT. I don't exactly know how they do it, but it is for sure undeserved and ridiculous.
EBT is food stamps btw |
