So my GT is CJS (my initials) and someone is offering £275 for it. I haven't been on Xbox in years so is this a legit value of that Gamertag or is he trying to scam me in some way?

I said Uk bank transfer only too

It could be worth that much to some people.
I would assume it's the buyers initials as well.

Yeah, it's worth that ez if someone has that initials as well.

Yeah, just make sure you get the funds before you give him the account.

But if it's bank transfer there is no way he can reverse that (is there?), I'd make sure I have the money in my bank before I trade anything over.

Bank transfer is good enough isn't it? Like he can't reverse or refund it if it's in my bank can he?

Bank transfers can be reversed for example you put in the wrong account number or BSB. Your bank will have to file the dispute and they'll check the name on the transfer and perhaps ask the recipient if it's rightfully there's (just for an added measure.)

Most transfers above ~$20,000 need bank approval anyway.
So you should be fine.
