Hi Guys,

I have built a PC about a month and a half ago. Everything was working perfect until last week.

It started playing up, after turning on the monitor had "no signal". Restarted the PC quite a few times for it to pick up.

At that point in time, I have been using the integrated graphics on Ryzen 5 2400G. I have changed the HDMI cable, still no luck. Tried a different monitor - no luck. I went out and bought a new graphics card (as it was planned from the beginning) - MSI Nvidia GTX 1660TI - still exactly the same. I have tried on the old graphics card - the same. I have tried a dvi to displayport - the same. I tried secondary PCI port - the same. I took it back to the store for checks (motherboard, CPU, RAM and graphics card), they said there is no errors and they have no idea what could be wrong. PC there works fine (I have seen it myself - there is no issue there). I have swapped a PSU from one that came with the case to Corsair - still no luck. I am out of options here, I spend $ on building this PC and I can't figure out what's wrong...

In addition to this - when the PC works and the Primary monitor works too - when I plug in a second monitor, there is black screen on it. windows recognizes it - its in settings, my mouse goes over to it, but "no signal" shows on the actual monitor.

I tried a clean install of the graphics driver.

I have checked the health of SSD and HDD and both are good.

List of Parts:
Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk B450
RAM: Corsair 8GB DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black 3000 X2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G
Graphics: MSI NVIDIA GTX 1660 TI 6GB.
PSU: Corsair VS550

Any recommendation would be appreciated.

Thank you!

You forgot to list your monitors.

On that note, multi monitor setups can be very... annoying. Especially if you're like me and have three and want to play in surround. Major thing though, when you say "Brought back to the store" what store? Because if you're US based and you managed to go to something like best buy, walmart, even some micro centers can be violently useless.

Options:
Swapping cables and connection lines.
Restarting the PC with all graphics drivers uninstalled and cables plugged into both monitors prior to booting.
Some monitors have a tendency to immediately go to sleep even if they are recognized which can quite literally just lead to you turning the monitor on clicking it's power button.
Other times you'll need to go into the settings for your displays be it in AMD, Nvidia or Windows' software as and identifying the monitors and making sure the connections are actually there software side.
Change from surround on and off.
Are you using the same models in terms of monitors? There can be some issues when using something like a 4k monitor alongside a 1080 monitor that'll come up software side.
Remove the graphics card from the PC, test each monitor with the same HDMI, VGA, DVI, or DP cable and ensure that it's not a connection failure based by cable or connection type.
Are you using any adapters? VGA to HDMI, HDMI to DP, etc?

Nvidia Control Panel:
Display > Change Resolution
Make sure all monitors are there, that'll tell you if it's software or not.
3D Settings > Configure Surround, PhysX
This will be how to turn on/off surround setups.
Display > Set up multiple displays
This is how you ID and place your monitors to your desire.

Windows 10:
Right click > Display Settings
You can do pretty much the same things here that you can in Nvidia a bit simpler, biggest thing is that they're all being detected and identified. Scrolling down you want to find "Multiple Displays" and enable "Extend desktop to this display" and make sure you have the monitor that is your primary selected, and check the box for "Make this my main display."
