Hey guys hopefully someone can help me I have a problem with my Dell parents Dell laptop it won't start up correctly and will go into Dell assist

You should be able to hit F12 to pull up boot menu and select the startup disk... But it sounds like your Windows install is corrupted

did the laptop update to the may update if so the may update is corrupting installs of system 32 files program files and other stuff, at this point i recommend just installing linux since microsoft again is releasing buggy updates that are corrupting drivers boot loaders and programs people use.

if you can hit f12 or whatever function key it is for the boot picker if it doesnt show your windows partition then your windows is corrupted and the boot loader isnt there, i have far to many experience with windows corruption on windows 10
