Any Finalmouse is really good if you can find them in stock. Although, there's a new competitor and it's the Glorious Model 0. It's basically the Finalmouse but with RGB, 1000hz poll rate, cheaper, and it has software. I don't think it's out though. Also, I have the G502 and it's a great mouse if you don't mind the weight. The extra buttons on it is nice but I'd rather have less weight. Plus, I find it hard to have a claw grip on the G502. I would watch some videos on the top Esports mice if it really matters to you.

People will say Logitech all day long and advocate it for life. I have no clue as to why, to me the mice they offer are gawdy and just idiotic trends that CS:GO "pros" sell. Yet, people will also say the mouse I love is stupid and unusable. Least till they try it.

Corsair Scimitar
Razer Trinity Naga

The Corsair Scimitar mouse I'd say is deathly second place to the Razer Trinity Naga. All for one simple feature it doesn't have, scroll tilt clicks. Sounds stupid right? So isn't though, I can't imagine my life without it at all. I used the original Razer Naga 2014 mouse also labeled out as an "MMO mouse" but I used it in everything, especially in ARMA 2, 3, DayZ Mod, DayZ, The Division, ESO, Insurgency, Warframe, etc. I LOVED my Naga 2014 till January of 2019 when the left click finally stopped working after nearly 4 years of abuse.

Anyways, being able to map any key you want to your mouse is awesome. From a sensitivity clutch you can hold onto to make precise shots, to turning your 5 key to melee, 6 for nade 1, 7 for nade 2, 8 for push to talk in game, you can see where I'm going with this. Commonly my tilt keys are bound for either opening a map, compass, push to talk or some character menu. Depends on the game, can't recommend the Trinity more if I wanted to. And for those who have used it and threw it away, they updated the software that constant disconnecting, no more. Just stays and loves you.

Here's my input;

Any mouse you get from Corsair, you'll need to replace within a year because Corsair doesn't know how to make a mouse where the scroll wheel doesn't get **** up in a matter of months, never get a Corsair mouse.

Razer, overpriced garbage. Period.

Logitech makes good mouses, but they usually are a bit bigger and heavier as some users said, but I have bigger hands myself, and I actually own the G502 and use it daily, I love it.

Then there's the new big thing people want. Either any of the Final mouses, or the Model O. Both feature the honey-comb design, and both are very light. I believe the Final mouse is lighter, but if you're interested in RGB, you can get the Model-O, super light, with RGB lights.

Anybody that says Logitech mouses aren't good, hasn't used one long enough. They're very high quality, they're just not for everybody due to the size and weight. If you want something lighter, get the Model-O or any mouse that Final offers. Just stay away from Razer and Corsair.

Having used a bunch of different mice, I would say my favourite is the Logitech G502.

People may dislike it but that is down to personal opinion; there is no "It's bad for FPS games" because that's just talking nonsense. The sensor is one of the better ones you will find in mice.

The size, weight, and feel of a mouse will be more of a factor to what you buy anyway - Pretty much any mouse will have a good enough sensor for ANYTHING you want to use it for. Don't fall for the stupid 'SuPeR HiGh DpI' nonsense either. Unless you are using your mouse at an insanely high sensitivity, it won't make much of a difference.

A list of the mice I've used as a comparison:

Corsair Ironclaw RGB
- Big mouse (great for big hands imo)
- Heavy
- Decent sensor

Corsair M65 Pro RGB
- Heavy 'chunky' design
- Corsair software can be pretty crap
- Padding wears down pretty quickly

- Logitech G502 (Proteus Spectrum)
- Good size
- Customisable weight
- Logitech software is 'good'
- Infinite scrollwheel

RAT MMO 7
- Decent-ish sensor
- Customisable weight
- MMO style layout so you can use lots of buttons
- Can customise the length of the mouse (I found this very nice considering I have big hands)

Razer Deathadder Elite
- Decent size
- Very comfortable
- Decent sensor
- Decent feel (Probably best for ergonomics)

Steelseries Sensei
- Very light
- Decent sensor
- On-board profiles
- Steelserie software is pretty easy to use
- Ambidextrous
- Additional customisation (lift-off distance, etc.) all handled on the mouse itself

If I had to rate them myself:
1. Logitech G502 9/10
2. Razer Deathadder Elite 9/10
3. Steelseries Sensei 8/10
4. Corsair Ironclaw RGB 7/10
5. RAT MMO 7 7/10
6. Corsair M65 Pro RGB 5/10

Overpriced? Yes. Garbage? Some Razer products are really good.

If the G502 is such a good mouse according to you why are none of the CS pros using it then? Its too heavy thats why maybe its a good mouse if you want to get carpal tunnel in your hand lmao. You havent even scraped the surface of mice because they're all relatively heavy use a Model O or Zowie Ec2-B or S2 then come back to me.I have the M65 and its still way too heavy for FPS from when I used it.Its also pointless to recommend mice when you dont know Hand size or grip style you're not gonna recommend a Palm grip mouse for someone that uses fingertip or Claw it makes 0 sense.Too small of a mice your hand will cramp and too big you wont get the best out of it.Same goes with coating your not gonna recommend a glossy mouse to someone with sweaty hands unless they want to sand it down to matte.

Like I specifically said in my post, there is no "best mouse". Just because a pro uses it doesn't mean it's good for you; I hate to break it to you but you aren't a pro, neither is op, neither am I. To try and claim mice are only good if pros are using them is insane.

You're stating that I haven't asked about hand sizes, grip, etc. but OP literally gave no info on preferences (even after being asked by yourself nearly 2 months ago) and how they use it besides "I normally play 1st person shooter games".
Instead, I gave the info on the mice that I have used based on which ones are larger, heavier, etc. so that OP can make a choice - I'm not pretending to be some hardware reviewer or expert in optical sensors, I am merely stating my opinion based on the mice I have used.

To claim that you can't use heavier mice when playing FPS games is just absolute nonsense; do your arms suddenly drop off because you have an extra 30g+ to move around? Weight is only one factor when choosing a mouse so OP should make decisions accordingly.

Also, the Steelseries Sensei is technically a lighter mouse than the Zowie EC2-B (90g vs 91g) so I don't know what your point about needing to "come back to you" as if you are the mighty mouse god that decides what the perfect mouse is. Get off your high horse and stop acting like your opinion is the only one that matters.

(Just for the sake of saying it because clearly the CS pros are the only source of "what makes a good mouse", when I played CSGO I was in Global Elite so clearly 'heavy mice' aren't as big of an issue as you seem to think)

CS pros use a mouse that they are use to and love they don't have to use a specific one, and if a pro uses it don't mean it's godly and such. It's based on your style and What's comfortable for you and that you like. I mean some use certain ones due to sponsorships ect

Majority Of CS players are Low sens players on low Dpi Thats why Lighter mouse are Ideal thats why Im using CS as an example You're not gonna be able to Arm aim with like 400 and 1.90 in game with a G502 because its too heavy unless youve hot a giant mousepad.I know pros have sponsors that make them use mice.
