I dont post much but thought I'd post about this.

So after contacting branch and applying and completing the selection process for 3IR.I have been accepted to The Old Guard. I have been applying for this PCS for a while and finally got it. I will be a military police guard on the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. I am extremely excited and it will be an amazing journey for my family.

I've been a military police officer for a while now and they kept denying the request because my unit did not want to release me but finally did.

I am super proud of myself.

Does this mean you'll be like the guys in the pictures with their slick uniforms, matching with a rifle and what not?

Its an extremely long process to get to actually walk to Tomb but for now i will be one of the guards in the same uniform off to the side providing security.
