In my personal opinion I don't think this was needed, this is what destroys the series is these adaptations. Nevertheless thanks for posting this.

Some live actions can be actually pretty good I'm not a big fan of them tho but the trailer I thought was pretty good ngl I actually am pretty excited about it.

I don't think they look good, it just doesn't feel the same at all.

I've watched the first live-action movie for Tokyo Ghoul and thought that it wasn't too bad, it covered up to the confrontation between Ken, Touka, Amon and Mado and covered some extra "side content" which the anime adaptation did not. As for this sequel, it seems that it will be picking up where the first left off up to the point just before Aogiri Tree comes in to play which will be kind of annoying in terms of not getting enough content out of the live-action sequel, but at the same time, it isn't going to be overly rushed through. It is a shame as I don't think that the live-action adaptation will reach the end of the story, but instead either stop after this, or produce a third and final one which will cover the Aogiri Tree x Ghoul Investigator conflict.

Would I suggest watching the first live-action film? Yes, if you've enjoyed the series and want to see how the story unfolds with some good old Japanese acting then it will be something to enjoy at your leisure.
