First time builder here and I need some input if the parts I picked out are worth their price and how I should expect the overall build to perform as a pure gaming PC.

Here's a link to the part list:

Several of the parts I'm able to get for an even cheaper price than listed here. I'm able to get the CPU and motherboard for a combined $130.

As for the Monitor, I was looking at a Dell SE2417 HG 24" 1080p LED monitor with a refresh rate of 60Hz.

What monitor(s) will you be using with the system? Resolution, refresh rate, etc?
What exactly will the system be used for? If just games, what kind of games?
What is the budget? $750USD?

Just realised that you updated the thread with more info. So, that's an $850-900 budget including a monitor? I'm assuming you're looking to get the R5 1600 for $80 from MicroCenter and $30 extra off with the motherboard? For $130, that's a good option. I wouldn't get any of the other low end AM4 motherboards though, the B450M Pro 4/B450 Pro 4 is definitely the best budget AM4 mobo, so stick with that unless you get something better.

Don't use 2400MHz RAM with Ryzen pls.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor ($130.00)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($0.00)
Memory: Team - Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($80.88 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Intel - 660p Series 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($109.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB WINDFORCE OC Video Card ($279.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Cooler Master - MasterBox NR600 (w/o ODD) ATX Mid Tower Case ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Cooler Master - MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($74.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $745.74

Faster RAM, which will definitely be beneficial with Ryzen. Dropped the 1TB HDD, and upped to a 1TB SSD instead. Easy enough to add an HDD later if you need/want additional storage anyway, and $110 for a 1TB NVMe SSD is a steal IMO. I'd take the CM NR600 over the NZXT H500, especially for the same price. That said, the H500 is a perfectly fine case, the NR600 is just better. You could save the $15 on the PSU and grab the CXM550 if you really wanted, but the Gold rated unit is worth the extra $15 IMO.

For monitor, this is a somewhat decent start;

1080p, 75Hz, with Freesync support. You'd probably want to upgrade from 1080p 60/75Hz pretty quickly though.

You could get this;

2560x1080 ultrawide, but only 60Hz and no Freesync support. 21:9 aspect ratio is great, but again you'd probably want to upgrade from this pretty quickly.

So I'd probably be looking at 1080p 144Hz, you can get some decent ones in the $160-170 range, but if you can manage it, this would be a really solid option;

Hi!

I will be building fairly soon, and just wanting to know if the parts I have/ will be getting will all work together.

I have the following:

CPU: Intel i5 9600K (stock cooler)
MOBO: Asus Prime Z370-P II
RAM: Team T-Force Dark 3200MHz 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4
GPU: Asus Phoenix Geforce GTX 1050Ti
PSU: Corsair HX1200 Platinum
SSD: Samsung 860 PRO 2.5in SATA SSD 512GB

Any advice is greatly appreciated as I am also looking to OC - not too much.
