They will allow you to use their beat for a fee but then the fine print in a contract is they receive a certain percent of future sales. Logically why is that?.

Forget about, it's just how it is & it's how they eat. But realistically, if I buy a song off of you, it is now mine. I'm giving you money for however much you value your work. I'm not gonna pay you 20% of future sales for life.

Imagine if you Purchased a microphone from let's say sony. For every megabyte of audio recorded, sony wants 25 cents. What sense does that make.


Someone please clarify.
