Ok so I have Sky Fibre Max and I get 70 download and 18 upload although on my mobile I barely get anything. My brothers iPad doesn't have a problem with connection although mine does. Sometimes my phone will have a stable connection but most of the time its less than 1mbps. Is there any way I can change a setting on the router to make my internet more stable using my phones MAC address or something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

This would have to do with the wifi connector on your phone. Some older models of phones dont have have the hardware or updates wifi software to pull the full incoming data. I am personally not well versed on wifi hardware but that would be my guess.

I highly doubt that it the case because it is an iPhone XS Max. It is down to the 2.4 and 5 GHz on my router allocating the bandwidth to the devices depending on the range. I have no idea how I would manually change it so I get a stronger connection on my phone so I thought I would ask here.

Well the 2.4 GHZ is built for range and not for speed, So if you are using that when testing speeds, It will be low, Just not as low as what you say it is.. The 5GHz is the one built for speed. your router should be broadcasting both bands, Make sure your phone only has the password for the 5GHZ if you are looking for speed.. But if you are on 5GHZ and your speed still sucks, I would look into the settings on your router such as QOS as that can affect select devices.. And if you have already done all of the above, Try to connect to a friends WiFi network and do a speedtest on their network, If you get the same results there as you get at home, It would indicate a issue with the network card inside the phone.. or maybe a software issue.
