I'm a 911 dispatcher. Currently looking just to see how many other first responders are on the site.

Happy National Telecommunicator week!

Even though your only a dispatcher, you still do a lot that comes unrecognized, on the phone calls, helping people in need of help immediately by making sure they are calm, sending them help, and giving basically saving their life or helping them be safe until help arrives. Just by answering the phone telling them to be quiet and relax or go hide in a certain spot is a huge deal. We the TTG community are very thankful for you.

does being a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) member count?

I would say so. You are responding to emergencies.

Also anyone not in the united states who does not use 911 for emergencies also counts.
