So I'm building a pc (primarily with amazon.com.au) and I want a good gaming pc under 1000 aud, so far I and my friends have gotten it down to this, any suggestions

CASE: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($55)
GPU: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($175)
CPU: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($258)
MOBO: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($87)
PSU: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($49)
RAM: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($65)
HDD: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($80)
SSD: [Minimum post requirement for links] ($59)

TOTAL: $825
SAVED: [Minimum post requirement for links]

EDIT: My friend just suggested [Minimum post requirement for links] , would it work with the rest of the setup?

That CPU(R5 2600) and motherboard(H310) you have chosen are not compatible.

GTX 1050 is an entry level GPU from over 2 years ago now, and it is about to be replaced by the GTX 1650 and GTX 1650Ti. So I absolutely would advise against buying a GTX 1050, especially now. GTX 1650 and 1650Ti are supposed to launch by the end of this month, apparently, at least according to the most recent rumours. We will also be hearing more about AMD's next gen GPU's soon.

What monitor(s) will you be using with this system? Also, what kind of games will you be playing?

With just the budget, I'd be looking at something like this;
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 GHz Quad-Core Processor ($129.80 @ Newegg Australia)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($108.75 @ Amazon Australia)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($136.71 @ Amazon Australia)
Storage: Crucial - BX500 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($85.00 @ PC Byte)
Video Card: GALAX - GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB (1-Click OC) Video Card ($351.00 @ Skycomp Technology)
Case: Deepcool - MATREXX 55 ATX Mid Tower Case ($63.00 @ Skycomp Technology)
Power Supply: Corsair - CXM (2015) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.00 @ Austin Computers)
Total: $953.26

Thank you a lot!
I'll be using an old 1080p tv and I'll be playing some Apex, Fortnite, Subnautica, TF2, maybe some overwatch and stuff like that, but mainly just Minecraft and Roblox.
I only really need an entry pc anyway, I don't care about full 60 fps and that crap, as long as it plays the games decently, though I will take your advice about the 1650 and motherboard/CPU thing.

Yeah, if you're just playing games on a 1080p TV then save some money on the CPU and put it towards a better GPU. Upgrades with an AM4 CPU+Mobo are super easy anyway, and cheap too.

I'd definitely be buying a half decent monitor for the system before throwing any more money at it though tbh, rather than using a TV. If you're comfortable buying used, you should be able to find a fairly nice 1440p monitor for <~$200AUD. A half decent 1080p60Hz monitor will be easy to find sub $100, and will be a better experience than your TV. 1080p144Hz or 1440p60Hz will probably feel like more of an upgrade though, so might be better off skipping a 1080p60Hz monitor.

The GTX 1660 is a solid GPU, will handle 1080p with ease, and even handle 1440p fairly well. If you do get the GTX 1660, I'd definitely recommend overclocking it, especially the RAM, as it can be a bit of a slouch at stock. No idea on GTX 1650/1650Ti performance or pricing, and you can get the 1660 now so you might be better off with that, but if you'd rather save some money and don't mind waiting, then we should be hearing more very soon.

Thanks for all the help!
I think I might just go for the pc you suggested for me and get an actual monitor later since I haven't noticed any problems (such as dead/stuck pixels, flickering or ghost images) when I was gaming on my old desktop (died due to a faulty power supply), though it's probably because I'm used to gaming on crap stuff, so as I said I'll upgrade it later, like maybe for Christmas or something.
