Was planning on buying a gaming pc (which I never did before) and put some parts together but I have no idea if they work with eachother and would also fit into the case:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

GPU: Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB

RAM: G.Skill Aegis DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3000

MB: MSI B450 Gaming Plus

SSD: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 250GB

PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 11 500W ATX 2.4

Case: Sharkoon TG4

Yes, it will work. However, that is a really poor quality case, and is likely over-priced. There's also a good chance the SSD is over-priced, 250GB 860 EVO isn't usually worth it since it's almost always priced around the same as some 480/512GB SSD's.

Any recommendations? I'm pretty clueless in this whole area so I'd appreciate any help I could get.

Honestly, it's a pretty decent system as it sits, I'd probably just make a few small changes. Depends on a few things though.

What is your budget and currency?
What exactly will you be using this system for? Just gaming? If so, what games?
Do you need a monitor? If yes, what's the budget for monitor?
If not, what monitor(s) will you be using with the system?

-Budget is around 600-700

-Just gaming. Mostly newer games. Doesnt have to be all max settings just runnable with decent fps.

- I dont need a monitor. Got an AMD Freesync Monitor (iiyama G-MASTER), hence the GPU.

And if I'm honest the only things I'd think about changing is the SSD and the Case. Have been searching for a while for those now and couldnt really find something good.

600-700 what? USD, CAD, AUD, GBP, Euros? If Euros, what country are you in or do you have a specific site you'll be buying components from?

Any specific games?

Which iiyama G-Master monitor do you have? Is it 1080p, 1440p, 4k? 60Hz, 75Hz, 144Hz? You can use Freesync displays with NVidia GPU's.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor (157.89 @ Mindfactory)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard (81.99 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (84.90 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Storage: Crucial - BX500 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (54.90 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Video Card: Sapphire - Radeon RX 580 4 GB PULSE Video Card (172.96 @ Mindfactory)
Case: Phanteks - Eclipse P350X (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case (62.81 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Power Supply: Corsair - Vengeance 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (52.99 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Total: 668.44

I'd try to stretch a little and swap the RX 580 for a GTX 1660. Looking at around 230 euros for a GTX 1660. Phanteks P350x is a nice mid range case, not too expensive but not low quality either. 480GB SSD, a little under 10 euros less than the 250GB Samsung 860 EVO. The Corsair Vengeance PSU's are great quality, and really well priced in Germany so I'd definitely grab one of those.

Okay thanks a lot! I really appreciate it.

Also should I get extra fans for the case or will the one installed do the trick?

And a cooler for the CPU? Or will the stock one be good enough?

The RAM that you have listed is more expensive than the G.SKILL AEGIS one, would the G.SKILL work with the ASRock motherboard?

The included CPU cooler with the R5 2600 is fine. I'd probably upgrade it at some point, but you can do that whenever.

How much is the G.Skill kit and which specific kit is it? It will work, but the Corsair kit might be the better choice if there's only like 5 euros in it.

The P350x comes with 1 case fan included, so I'd probably buy an extra one at least- one for intake and one for exhaust. Even a cheap case fan will be fine for now, something for like 5-10 euros. I like the Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2's. Grab a 140mm fan for the front and put the included 120mm in the rear. You can add/change case fans later easily as well, so just the 2 is fine for now.
