So i have a 1TB HDD and its saying theres 810 gb?? I have unallocated space but I cant extend it because the capacity is wrong so it goes over the limit, which isnt the right capacity.

Are you running Windows 10? Can you open disk management and tell me what the drive looks like? If there's any empty space on there you'd be able to see something from that screen.

Open CMD
>Diskpart
>list disk
>Select disk x
>Clean

Go back into your Disk manager and create a new volume. It should be the correct size.

Assuming you don't want any of your data on the drive since doing this will delete everything
