| So my friend gave me his old gta5 because my parents wont buy me gta5 (or let me play it) so my friend gave me his old Gta5 which is completely scratched to shit. So I threw it in my Xbox to see if it would work, and it sorta worked. The reason why is because it knows what game it is when I press disc info (X), but when I go to play the game it says its unreadable. Which i think it should play because at least it knows what game it is. Help??? |

No.
Just because the xbox can detect the game doesnt mean it can read it. Either buy the game on-demand when its on sale (I think its currently <$20 right now on the xbox store) or buy a new copy. |

Last resort > Spray it with deodorant then round the RIM of the disk, so round the whole outside wiping it straight round, with a piece of cotton, silk or rag, then same in the CENTRE of the disk, in the middle (all the way around the disk) wipe it outwards towards the rim of the disk, this is how shops clean them.
If it don't work, follow the post above and buy an new copy. |
