Is this a Zombie? AKA Kore wa Zombie desu ka?

Ayumu Aikawa at first was just your ordinary high school boy, but then one day he was struck and killed by a crazed killer. He woke up and found that he had been revived by a necromancer named Eucliwood Helscythe. But upon being revived by Eucliwood it comes with some side effects, with him gaining some zombie-like powers. Ayumu can no longer die, even if he is sliced to bits, and if he goes in the sun his body will shrivel up in direct sunlight. Him and Eucliwood happen to attract other world like magic users, eventually leading him to become him dressed as a female zombie magical girl wielding a chainsaw.



Random silliness is taken to the up most extreme in this anime. If you thought a male character dressing as a zombie magical girl wielding a chainsaw was crazy, then you add in the vampire ninjas that play violins and also can cook, a rival zombie with dark powers, and a magical girl who lost her powers. Then check this out for a good laugh.

With all of randomness that goes on in Is This a Zombie?, it's hard to remember or figure out what the actual plot is about. The first couple EP of the series was focused on introducing the main new characters and finding the killer who originally killed Ayumu. This eventually led to the introduction of another rival zombie. Some of this does not make any sense but still if you want a good anime to sit down and watch and laugh your head off check this out.
