I have been looking through some of the console shops here on TTG and I'm just even wondering if they are even worth the buy anymore. I have always wanted a modded console. But, do people even participate in modded lobbies anymore and are they still worth the hype?

I still use mine, but the modding scene has died out due to next gen.
Depends what you want it for, making money? No. Just for fun? Yes. |

| Tbh there's no hype about them they are long gone, even to mod everyone in the lobby are not amazed at all it's got to the point where people just exspect to see mods so the wow factor is no more. That said you can go on like bo2 and get infections for free and ok the retail all the menus that would be on an rgh so in my opinion it's not worth it but it's not my decision |

| Honestly been modding since the mw2 days and rgh are basically pointless online unless u want to use it for zombie mods or play black ops 1 since that's basically the only call of duty ppl play lol |

| RGH's are not only for modding, you can play pirated games, emulated games, and yes on the side have fun with some modded zombies etc (: or help unfreeze someone elses classes when needed. |

This is what I got my RGH for, playing pirated games. If you try and buy the 360 games nowadays annd you'll be spending $100+. I also love the Trainers that you can use for the single-player games. If you love the Xbox 360, denfently worth getting a JTag/RGH. |
