Hey guys, been out of the pc building game for about 5 years, I am wanting advice to build a computer to mostly cruise through the internet, play games at 1080p, watch youtube videos etc. Games I mostly play are civ v-vi, all the metro games and exodus when its released, COD, battlefield, most of your usual things. I already own a gtx 1060ti, and have a keyboard, mouse, mat, headset, monitor, and speaker set. I also own 6 Be-Quiet case fans to be re-used.
Budget & Currency: $1800 AUD, less is better. Peripherals & Monitor: already own. Games: listed above. Software: already own windows 10. Aesthetics: pretty casual, not massive on RGB, clean and simple. Rebates/Promos: n/a. Details: Case - Meshify C tinted TG $149 Motherboard - Gigabyte z390 Auros Pro $339 CPU - i5 8400 $329 memory - Corsair Vengeance ddr4 LPX 16gb 3ghz $199 GPU - gtx 1060ti (already own) PSU - Corsair rm650x $165 hdd - Samsung 970+ nvme ssd $169 cpu cooler - Be-Quiet dark rock 4 $99 total - $1449+ shipping I have checked that the memory and ssd is compatible with the mb, I really like the meshify C case with tinted side window so pretty sold on that. The build has to have an emphasis on silence, hence the be-quiet fans and cooler. I have watched a few videos on nvme ssd so thought i'd buy one for a clean install of windows 10.
