Car or Bike, thought I'd create a discussion in here peoples thoughts. Any issues or events you want to talk about?

My car is holding out good. The weather hasn't been too treacherous. No mechanical or electrical faults.

We haven't gotten any snow yet, a few weeks ago we got a lot of ice so there were tons of accidents. My truck doesn't do good in the ice so I loaded it down with sand bags. It does good in 4x4 but driving in 4x4 on pavement gives you a high chance of locking up the transfer case so I drive in 2wd unless I'm stuck and in 2wd since there's no weight over the rear wheels, it's hard to get traction. Just standard truck issues lol but after loading it down with sand bags all was well.

Kept a close eye on the local Facebook pages to see if anyone needed help, ended up pulling a few cars out and taking a lady to pick up her kids from school.

It's been excellent;

Winter started with a piston rod breaking on my engine requiring an engine lift and replacement

Now my power steering / tie rods are playing up which I'll need to get checked to very soon because the steering is extremely heavy, wish I'd had scrapped the car.

I walk, however the ice on the floor isn't making it fun. I basically ski to work

Might I recommend some skates and then holding onto the back of a car/bus?

Luckily, winter weather is much around here.
The most we get is some heavy rain, but even that is just a few inches at most.
The only problem? We have some of the worst drivers and traffic in the country. Mix that with some sprinkles on the windshield and people completely forget how to drive.
Driving in the weather is fine, driving with other people in the weather is scary as hell.
