Now your asking how does this make cod not good anymore? well its simple. That song right there does 1 thing and it sounds scary asf which the intent was. It gives you a glimpse of the bloodiest war in history. WaW like its *sequel BO1 were magnificent cods they MORE accurately described its times instance WW2 and the Cold War. It wasnt afraid to put gruesome clips and its intent was well.. To make a rly good fking realistic game. Both of these CoD's are arguably my favorite ones they had amazing campaigns along with the best zombies and really good multiplayers. I think in recent years CoD dwelved into providing more blockbuster movie looking games that have no realism and seems like a reason for its dying in past years. Of course the CoD genre is predated people want new things but me personally and it seems for many others if WaW came out again literally just the same game just reinvented new graphics etc i feel like it would be a big hit like it used to. I havent touched CoD in years and truth be told im embarassed at what has happened. An amazing series caught in a pinnacle of greedy corporations wanted to squeeze as much profit of the series as they can. |

| I joined TTG because of CoD every year I come back to this site and say the same stuff about CoD. they are not improving at all they seem to be unraveling everything that made them a good game. Actually depressing. |

| I enjoyed cod in bo1 days. Now Activision push for all this loot box rubbish and stuff. Cut campaigns for battle royale and etc. Plus. The generation below don't have a particularly long attention span. And theyre the ones starting to take over on these games. Hence the fast pace motion noob Friendly games we get nowadays |

I mean I got a nuclear earlier because I sit in my room with sweat bands playing all day because I live the game, it's come back since iw and aw, waw was ok and now bo4 is the sh*t

Not even the same man, BO4 is alright the maps are way to big. I agree with you 100% if WAW came out and had jsut the regraphics done to it, it'd be a hit, of course, why? Because we all want realistic war in COD like it was back in the day. Someone please give this man 10k rep. He knows wtf he's talking about |

To be honest, I loved cod up until infinite warfare. Infinite warfare was the last cod to actually make me want to play it. After that it's gone downhill for me. I stuck with WWII for it's lifecycle in hopes BO4 would live to the hype.
I only played the multiplayer for WWII and it sucked at first but got pretty solid towards the end, I even got all the DLC weapons. Then black ops 4 came out. I was in love, I didn't experience any of the negative shit everyone else was experiencing, it was like the cod gods were on my side as they were with every treyarch title. A little history before I go on, I am a zombies player, and I have been since day one. I remember coming up with a theory on this very website when I first played Nacht Der Untoten. I hated that you had to start over every tike, I didn't understand the whole gameplay aspect of slowly working your way up to better items because this was a small was map with not much good wall weapons, so I couldn't make the same connection like with say verruckt or any big map with multiple doors to open with new guns in each room that progressively get batter and better. So I came up with a theory that these were alternate universe's we were playing, that's why we had to start over from the beginning over and over again. And for years I stayed loyal to treyarch, up until last year actually. Blood of the dead was my last treyarch zombies map till they get their shit together. But the reason I felt such an attachment to treyarch zombies did not come to me until black ops 2 came out. Die Rise had just released and I played my first game of the map solo. The minute Richtofen said "accept your fate, begin anew" my brain went on overdrive, my theory had been right and only then did I realize that treyarch seemed to be pulling straight from my brain for their content. I would think things and zombies would verify those thoughts. This progressed into black ops 3, with the apothicons and keepers, I myself had believed there is more to this reality than we have been led to believe. I believed there was a god and a devil because I was raised christian. But I sort of had a direct connection to god sort of like how richtofen has his schizophrenic moments. I had always believed schizophrenia to truly be a spiritual tool to allow humans to communicate with higher dimensional beings, and here was treyarch verifying those very thoughts, it was **** amazing, like they knew something, something I was slowly getting at. So there are forces of light and dark, not necessarily good or evil which is why I liked the whole storyline, nobody could tell who to trust, but in my mind they were equal, the light wanted to repair reality at the cost of destroying all that did not belong in that reality, while the other said that that very force was evil. And of course the darkness would masquerade as the light, so we would never know who to truly trust, just like in real spirituality, it's all based on your beliefs, so you may as well trust what you believe because what you believe becomes your reality. And when black ops 4 came out I jumped right into blood of the dead, I didn't really get the point though I had a clue cuz months before black ops 4 came out I had lost my house keys so me and my family were locked out, and while looking for the keys my arm had gotten cut, I was bleeding heavily but the blood attracted a Japanese beetle that actually led me to my keys which were in the middle of the street two streets away cuz I kept our house keys in our baby bag which was on top of the car when we left. I didn't make the connection to blood and the Japanese beetle till blood of the dead ending came out. Then it clicked in my head that blood holds more power than we were led to believe because blood does have the power to power the human body after all. But sadly with the blatant disrespect towards the zombies community and an honestly lackluster multiplayer, I had to delete black ops 4. I was loving it, but they were not showing love to the zombies community. I don't even care if I didn't experience any negative glitches, but others were and that's inexcusable. Black ops 4 just straight up broke my heart, and I may come back to it eventually, but not right now, my heart honestly can't take it at times because it feels so shitty. But I know it's most likely Activision fault and not treyarch, but what's done has been done. |
