All songs, downloaded or not. My streaming setting is set to Very High. As mentioned I did just update the app, I will test this on my lunch break to see if it has improved.

Should fix your problem.

Tried it and no luck mate!

Honestly sometimes it can have something to do with the sound system of the vehicle. My old chevy used to "sizzle" over bluetooth, eventually annoyed me enough i just went and got an aux cord. Bluetooth is convenient sure but you do lose sound quality and there always has to be perfect parameters for it to work 100%.
For it to happen in my car, my friends car and a bluetooth speaker I wouldn't of thought it was the car. Whether it's some codec within Spotify I'm not sure.

Really bugging me tho

I wouldnt think so bud. I have an S9+ and i went ahead and tested Spotify over my sound bar and it played through a song okay. Weird that it would work on Youtube. Honestly the last thing i can think of would be find an older version of a Spotify .apk on Google, install it and see if it stops?

Still no luck with the changes made.

I have now reset my network connections on my device and will continue to test tonight when I leave work.

A real shame. Only other thing I can think of is to delete the songs saved and then redownload them. I know there's an issue with that, that causes crackling issues

So I managed to get this sorted.

I done two things prior to testing, these were:

1. I reset my network settings on my device for; bluetooth, wifi, NFC etc...
2. Downloaded an older version of Spotify.

Got into my car, cracked the volume up to maximum and no more crackling.

Thanks for your help everyone!
