Really wanting a Audi A4 S Line anyone got a audi?

I got £4k I want to spend on a Audi A4, But in the UK to get this car i'm going to have to get one with 90-100k miles on the clock most likely, Anybody got a Audi any problems i should know of before buying one?

I heard something about DPF after 2008 or something..

Thanks

I have a 06 Audi A4. Bought it at 80K miles, At 120k ish right now. Ive done regular oil changes and use premium gas and i have not had any major issues with the car. The only issues since owning it were i had to change spark plugs. Other than that this car has less problems than the other ones i own and im surprised at that.

That sounds good, thanks man.. Is it a diesel or petrol? I read somewhere I'll get hit with a £2.5k bill for a DPF if it's a diesel after 2008

But what you said sounds good

recommendation stay away from b7 platform, they are the worst. as a man who owns 2 b5s and sold one recently, I love them. 1.8ts are fun throw a tune on more fun, easy to build. Not to mention parts are easily obtained. Like the previous guy said 120k things start needing replacement. If you want a B5 then go for a 2001 last a4 year they have wide band, a lot more build ability. If you want a reliable daily then get a 2.8 b5 ... I know a lot about b5s, b6's are good as well... b8's are great after they are fixed for oil consumption. S line does not make a difference for most of them also.

Lol yea.. I'm in Scotland and there's not a lot for a nice price here but soon as i went to see this car i really liked it. Thought i'd get the one i wanted then i wouldn't mind putting money into it making it awesome.

Picking it up today, I also spent less than i had so i have a lot left to fix any issues.
The car was listed for £3k i spent £2,650 and thats with 12months MOT and service etc included.
Will add pictures later today

Got basically half my money left so i'm happy.

Any update on the car you bought mate?

2.0 TDI seem to encounter more issues with the transmission side of things than the 1.9 TDI engine does. I personally would have went for the other option, but I'm a Vauxhall guy myself.
