| You see people playing fortnite and other games with 1-10 "Ping". How does one get that good of ping? Because I have wired connection and pay the highest amount for the highest gigs offered other than business class high speed internet. Yet I still have 40-100 ping. |

one thing you can try is make sure you're searching the correct servers.
If you're in the US on the east coast make sure to use the east server if you're in the West use that server. |

| I'm eastern based and search eastern servers. However, popular streamers and such all have really low ping. Not all of them live close to the servers though. I don't know, but thank you m8's. I hope you had a Merry Christmas. Your inputs were truly appreciated. |

You're probably just in a bad area. My sister has a plan that's way worse than mine, and i was on her wifi, when i played overwatch i was getting pings of 20-30 while at my house i get 40-80 and the router is right next to me.
As for seeing lows of 10, they're probably on some super strong fiber internet or lives near the servers, Like for example, they have a server near downtown NY and you can go down there and play fortnite/smite etc and probably have highs of 10, hell i even saw someone stream at Blizzard HQ where they had a still ping of 1. |

| Honestly people with good ping probably live closer to where the servers are. I've noticed that some games when I connect to a VPN thats closer to the servers I tend to have better then if i played without it. |
