My son brought 79.99 of v bucks without my consent, should I removed my PayPal haha! But
Xbox said they couldn't do anything, and said ring PayPal....
So I rung PayPal

There is now a dispute and if they don't personally reply I get my refund, but I'm worries about a back lash?

Would you guys think?

I contacted Microsoft and told them the situation and they said you account won't be banned or anything like that

But PayPal have put the refund on the category "item not as described" ...

From what I understand if you forcibly charge back an Xbox related purchase you get banned for Marketplace Fraud. I would triple check with Microsoft and make sure they understand exactly what it is you intend on doing before you lose the account over miscommunication.

Oh ok, i got an email confirmation that I requested, could I use that a proof?

I'm not too sure what to say if I ring them for the 3rd time?

It's Christmas, just give him a smack on the wrist and educate him and or remove your card details from his account.

Yeah things happen man, just let him know that since he did that, he will have less presents unless you aalready bought them. In that case get some house work done out of him and make that $80 back!

You hear stories like this all the time. But none of them end with a refund unfortunately. Xbox does have measure such as parental controls to stop these things from happening though.

Id say just let him know how serious it is to buy things without asking first, but like saki said I would not risk being banned for retail fraud over 80 bucks

I'm not to sure of what stories your hearing but my friends moms paypal is on most of our accounts and a different friend used it called xbox and said he never received the product that he purchased and got a refund. He's done it multiple times without any form of punishment from Xbox.

I'm pretty sure you could get a refund from paypal and xbox wont ban the account, i had a similar issue one time i let a "friend" use my account, got my 300$ back and my account wasn't banned.

But that was 2 years ago, so take that with a grain of salt.
