The Task: Create a basic branding kit for a fictional company of your own design.This contest is designed, pun fully intended, to test your skill as not only a Graphic Designer but as creative individual. If you enter I hope this will give some practical experience on what a designer will encounter out in the real world freelancing and even working for as a Graphic Designer daily for company. Choose a name and fictional business and get started! Contest Requirements: You must make each of the following items for a fictional company you will 'create' and design for.
First consider a Company Name, what this 'Company' is, what do they do, what they sell, what they offer, and how to portray that. 1. Logo & Tagline (Must be presented in its raw vector form, additional colored and detailed versions encouraged.) 2. Business Card Design (2"x2.5" Front required only, backside and mock-up display encouraged.) 3. Company Letterhead (8.5"x11 One style required, alternate stationary encouraged.) 4. Your Pick (Choose an additional piece you feel works with your company, if you're strapped on ideas read below) Envelope - Packaging - Web Banner - Advertisement - Billboard - Vehicle Livery - eNewsletter - Web Graphics - Social Media Graphics - Presentation Displays - Posters - Flyers - Brochures - etc. Rules & Regulations: 1. All work must be original in creation.
(Note: Non-Original Mock-Up Displays permitted for display use only & credit creator... bonus points if you make your own.) 2. All 4 pieces of the contest must be completed to enter. (Very strict requirement, as its the point of the contest and the skills gained through completing. Remember you can post as you work, you don't have to wait until it's all done) 3. No place-holding posts. (No spot saving allowed, you can post once you have at least the 1st task complete, then edit and update your post as you work.) 4. Updates allowed until contest close. (You can edit and add to your post until the last day of the contest, lets keep this evolving and fun shall we. Any post edited after close date is disqualified.) 5. Have Fun! (I allowed almost total freedom with this contest, you decide, so take advantage of that and blow my socks off!) LOGO BUSINESS CARD LETTER HEADER USER GUIDE COVER ((All made by me, no stocks or w/e nerds)) Might add mockups later on but for now I have met minimum requirements, I think? |

My Entry
This is my entry, I had no idea what to design as I don't normally do this kind of thing. It was a lot of fun and I have gained a few new skills which may be handy in the future. I hope this is what you were asking for and for the Letter and Business Card, I copied the sizes from another entry as I didn't understand the ones you listed because I either got them wrong or it was just too small and was like that on purpose.
