Epic announced it is working on "an account-merging feature to combine Battle Royale purchases," as well as "enabling unlinking a console from one Fortnite account, and relinking to another Fortnite account."

While Epic has made no mention of account merging being a direct result of Sony's move to add cross-play support, this addresses the request of many players who previously had to create a separate account for PS4 because they couldn't carry their other one over from other platforms.

Not sure how they are going to deal with people having the same skin on two accounts but we will see
