Is there any other way of getting the update onto the console besides a fat32 usb I have updated to latest dash all that jazz just wondering if I could get away with updating the avatar crap without a USB because I dont have one handy.

It should automatically give you the avatar update once you boot up. If not, try signing into your account and it should give you the pop up from that. Make sure it is 100% the avatar update though.

Just do the Avatar update once you know for sure you have the new dash set. You'll get the update Notification and go ahead with it. No point doing the update via USB

Well the main thing is to check if your avatars are grayed out. If they are, chances are it's an avatar update. However, you could also be missing a dashboard update so it's always better to check and make sure you are on the latest dashboard before doing any updates.

Well if you click cancel and make sure your dash is up to date then you should be all good going ahead with the update
