So I found a 2018 Dodge Charger Scatpack for sale for what the online price said of $27,999. I took a screenshot and came back to the post a few days later to find out the car was listed at $38,355. Would they have to honor this price?

I'm not 100% sure if it's a dealership, but from a private party, for sure nothing wrong with it.

I really don't think it would be considered false advertising, the price listed is a asking price for something they are trying to sell, it's not really an advertisement promising a set price.

Sounds pretty normal of what a dealer would do to attract more customers to their shop.

I'm not sure if they have to honour it. Though, when this happened to me, they did honour the online price but the price difference was only around £1000 compared to nearly 10k for yourself.

Best of luck.

Could've been a listing mistake you can't really hold them to that price. Clearly if the car is worth 10-15k more than what they listed it's horrible business on them

That is the price IF you meet all the qualifications. Basically you have to be over 80 years old, served in Viet Nam, hold a AAA card, have perfect credit, finance through Chrysler financial, etc. etc.

The big number is the MSRP, the small number is what the bottom dollar is if you meet all the criteria.

Some dealers will list all the discounts and some won't. Here's a local dealer by me that lists everything.
