Over the past year, my town car is my 2003 Ford Focus I purchased years ago. But, during the years the car has been in and out of the shop constantly so I feel its time for an upgrade (and its a manual). The car has had a new clutch 2 times and several frame fixes, axle repairs, etc. The car also has no AC and interior holes allowing dirt to come inside.
I was browsing Kijiji for just a nice cruising car to drive around town. I landed on a Mazda 3 only 5 hours away and wanted to see what you guys though. The Car is 2006 automatic front-wheel drive with 215,000 kilometers on it. The seller said it has some problems like 2 new wheels need to be purchased, a rear shock and a struct. Not too worried about the problems as its an easy fix as is but not sure about Mazdas for durability as its got a high kilometer use. Was wondering what you guys think? The owner is asking for $2000 without safety.

Brand new studded Tires

Needs 2 new tires

Exterior looks really clean, and the interior from what I can see looks good as well.
$2000 is not a bad price for this. 215k is a lot though, so if It was me, I'd try and talk him down to at least $1800.

I would personally buy it, I bought my mom a Mazda and that thing won't die. It's like a Honda just a tiny bit more expensive for some parts.

The wheels definitely need a touch up though, possibly get new wheels. Also is that a dent I see in the driver side fender?

I noticed that but in the first picture, it doesn't look like. I'll be messaging him that since I didn't really notice.
