I have had my current gaming PC since 2011 & i think its time to start fresh with a new build.
My budget is 3,000.00 & im looking for the best of the best for my dollar.

Can someone with experience give me suggestions & tips from there point of view as if they had a 3,000.00 budget.

Thank You

If you really wanna spend 3 stacks, wait for Threadripper 2 later this month, grab a 2950x. That would look something like this;

but with a 2950x instead of the 1950x obviously. To be fair though, if you're impatient, the 1950x will still be more than fine, the 2950x is just going to have a pretty healthy clock speed improvement over the 1950x.
