Hey all! I know Ethan has a sticked topic about music production, in addition to it being a place to post your music, but I'd like to gather information from you about some things regarding EDM production specifically. I'd love to know your answers.
I've been into EDM production for a little over a year and I was curious about others who may be into EDM production and what plugins/VSTs/AAXs you use to create your sound(s). Also, what DAW do you find easiest to use for post processing basslines? From where do you get your inspiration? How long have you been producing? Considering how saturated the industry is, would you consider it a hobby or something you plan on making a career some day?
I'd love to know your answers and if there are any other nerds like me into sound design.

- Sylenth, Massive, Serum, etc
From where do you get your inspiration?
- I listen to Trap Nation alot, as well as watching alot of live sets on youtube. My favorite artist(s) at the moment are Brooks & Mike Williams (Perfect summer vibes)
Considering how saturated the industry is, would you consider it a hobby or something you plan on making a career some day?
- I consider it a hobby atm, but would love for it to turn into career one day

- Will be a little over a year in August

Bro thats sick! I love Trap Nation. My favorite artists have to be Virtual Riot and Getter. Im more into the dubstep and riddim scene. Serum is my go to because sylenth and Massive are so difficult to get the hang of. I'll definitely have to check out Brooks dude. Dont forget to sidechain and good luck with your productions my man!
