This was my first anime I watched back when I was 18 not really knowing what anime was. I remember this show aired on Adult Swim.

The first opening follows Rin Okumura. A 16 year old. He wanted everyone to like him although everybody outcasted him and bullied him. But they treated his twin brother as royalty.

All the characters judged Rin just based on what they heard...when they didn't even bother to talk to him. What's interesting is Rin has a twin brother Yukio and he gets treated way better than him because Yukio is smarter than him in most topics.

Because he is the son of Satan.

In the anime they battle demons and exorcise them and the battles are amazing when the fight scene come on.
This anime really pulls at your heartstrings
When Rin and his twin brother's adopted dad dies...

As the story progresses you see Rin unlock his true power to help everyone.

Rin wants to avenge his father's death. And become a great Ecorcist like his dad.

And I relate to this anime back in school I was judged by what people heard about me and I wanted to make friends and do right just like Rin. As well my mom passed away in my own arms 3 years ago just like his adopted dad did.

Overall, this anime is great, if you like characters who progress and become more powerful. There is a lot good fighting scenes where the scene will make your eyes glued to the screen. All the characters as well are funny and entertaining never a dull moment.

It's a good one for sure. Haven't finished it yet actually but from all I've seen it's good.

Great anime and easy to get into for people just getting into watching anime. OG Season was the best, newer one not so much. Wish there was more plot to the story rather than having half of it being Rin arguing with his ugly classmates cus they're rich and hes not. Seems like a silly thing to drag the story along to when there are literal demons killing people but alrighty

7/10 would recommend especially if you have Netflix
