Hello, I'm tired of the goddamn Xbox and plan on upgrading to getting myself a gaming PC. I'd just like to point out that my budget isn't 100% set in stone and that there would be two people using the gaming PC.

What is your budget and currency?
My budget will be $900-$1,000 but if there needs to be a bit more put in to run games optimally, I'll see what I can do.
Do you need a monitor?
Yes.
Do you need a keyboard?
Yes.
Do you need a mouse?
Yes.
Do you need an operating system?
Yes.
What will you use the PC for?
The PC will be used to play Fortnite, Overwatch, Old School Runescape (lol).

Thanks for the help to anyone who replies. +REP will be handed out.

Tried to get 16GB RAM in, but felt you'd be making sacrifices elsewhere to do so within budget since you require peripherals. So, 8GB RAM will be fine for now, but it's probably the first thing I'd look at upgrading. You can just add another 1x8GB RAM when you have some spare cash though, so it's easy enough to do whenever you want.

You could save some money by going with a Ryzen 5 1400 instead, which would still be perfectly adequate so I can give you a parts list with the R5 1400 instead if you want. I haven't included a keyboard and mouse, you can choose those, there are plenty of $20-30 kb+mouse combo's on Amazon and Newegg, just pick whichever you like the look of really. You can save $60 by going with a 1080p monitor if you don't like the look of the ultrawide monitor in the parts ist above, or spend an extra $50 or so to go with 1440p.
