I'm looking to trade my ford fusion in for this. Do y'all think I should? I haven't seen it in person yet I'm going tomorrow to test drive it and look at it.

Here's the link to the car if you want to look.

Just picture my Ford Fusion as a basic silver sedan 1.5L eco boost.

What year Fusion?

When I decided to try to be mature and buy a 4 door car, I preferred the Fusion over the Charger. I had a 2013 Fusion, I felt like the Fusion was more planted to the ground and the fit and finish inside was a lot better than the Charger. I like the rear end of the Charger better, but over all I just liked the Fusion better. Mine was a base 4 cylinder which was gutless but it is what it is lol. Between the lack of power and low roof line, those were my 2 biggest complaints aside from the spoiler on the trunk (from the factory) that wouldn't let the trunk stay open.

It's a 2014 but it's just so basic I like the car but I've also never owned a fast car so I want to try it and see if I like it. I'm hoping I can trade my Fusion in for it.

Trust me, the Charger has a big engine, however it weighs as much as a T-rex. It does have some speed to it, but by no means impressive. It's like what Ford tried to do with the Taurus SHO, they took a nice family car and tried to throw a big engine in it to make it more appealing but it just doesn't have the get up and go. That's where Chevy does it right, their cars are fairly light with nice sized engines.

I'm not saying don't buy it or it's slow or anything, it is a nice car that has some power but I would strongly suggest looking at all the options and test driving each one to find out which one suits you best. For me I like the look of the Charger better, but I liked the way my Fusion drove better.

I agree with 002. I was deciding between my SS camaro and the Scat pack charger and I chose the camaro. The camaro had a better feel and felt like it had more power. Plus the Charger you're looking at has the smaller v8. It has the 5.7 which is okay but it doesn't produce as much power of course. If you are gonna get a sports car with power then go with the 5.0 mustang or SS Mustang. (I would go for camaro)

I would say get it if it's a srt8 then you'd have some power. I think it's important to wait for your test drive though then you'll have a better idea if you want it or not
