Yes, an R3 2200G and GT 1030 would work together. Obviously assuming all the rest of the specs are compatible. That said, the integrated Vega 8 graphics with the R3 2200G are about on par with a GT 1030 so buying an R3 2200G and pairing it with a GT 1030 is just about the stupidest waste of money imaginable.

No idea. Depends entirely on your budget, currency, the rest of your specs, and what you'll be using the system for exactly. If you want help, read the sticky that tells you how to properly ask for help;
Forums/t=6751631/pc-building-rule...dvice.html

If you don't need a monitor, what monitor(s) are you using with the system?
We know you're open to overclocking.
What exactly will the system be used for? What games/programs will you be running?

I got about 400$ budget might go over a bit. But a mother board some ram etc etc. with the 2200g Vega. It's about 350$ I'd say. So I could over clock that and then get a better gpu when the prices come down. Overclocking temperature won't be a problem the case has 4 built in fans and I'm going to buy a better fan for the gpu. I'll probably use a cheapo monitor for now. I could get one for 60$.

I'm trying to play the usual gta 5, the forest, my summer car, fortnite, along those lines. right now for a gigabyte GA-A320M board, AMD ryzen 3 2200g with Vega, patriot viper elite series DDR4 8gb (2x4gb) 2400mhz, 1tb storage, 450 bt, 80+ bronze 450 watt power brick, and a 4fan led case is running me about 370$.

Alright, first of all, the A320 chipset does not support overclocking so you can't overclock the R3 2200G CPU or GPU with that motherboard. You've also paired an APU with 2400MHz RAM which is a huge no no, that's going to seriously limit performance. Ryzen, especially the APUs benefit from faster RAM and dual channel RAM is basically a requirement with an APU IMO. So with the 2200G, you want 2x4GB @ 3000/3200MHz ideally.

Like I said, if you want help, you're going to have to actually give us the information we need to help you.

You've given us $350, $370, $400, and then $60 for a monitor? So what is your actual budget and currency for everything you need? I'm assuming you're using USD?
Have you bought anything already? If so, what?

We know you're open to overclocking and have a rough idea of what the system will be used for, so if you can just answer the questions above we should be able to give you a parts list.

I looked into it more and had a good idea. I'm getting a b350 motherboard paired with a ryzen 5 2400g, 450 bt power supply and 1 storage. What is the cheapest ram I could pair with this at 8gb ram. Not sure about monitor yet. Just worry about getting the pc done. Might be a little over 400$ on this build. Trying to be cheap but get good quality and upgradable hardware. Such as add a graphics card down the road.
