I have noticed this quite alot and have done it before. A few times.

My reasoning is I either go through a period where I don't want to be social in anyway. Or I generally just forget

To be fair I made a post like that a while ago, I stayed active for a week and I just find myself coming back and forth every now and then. So much has changed but there is nothing wrong with a I am back post.

Its because there likely was a reason they became inactive in the first place

I actually have noticed it lol its like they just want to get an easy last post in or something.

As we all get older and get jobs / families it's harder to find time. Hell I stopped playing video games 4 years ago lol. I used to be super active but now I have a job where I work all across the country and it's just hard to find the time to get on here.

because most of us oldies who used to be active a lot have now gotten jobs, girlfriends and other things that come first before TTG now, it sucks not being younger again and having time to just chill on here all day!

I've done this. I've been back and forth through this site for so long. It's hard to try to scroll through the forums when you gotta work everyday then come home to sit and relax and pay a couple video games before passing tf out. I wish this place was still popping, it use to be fun to get on here and talk with new people and find new gamer friends.
