My budget is 1800-1900$ I would like to know if this part list is worth the money for the best performance. I plan to overclock both my cpu and gpu. I would also like recommendations for a monitor. I am looking for an ultra wide monitor with a decent refresh rate. Let me know if I should change out certain components. Thank you

Well, you've got an $1800 system there, so what is your budget including monitor? Give us more info. Answer these questions for us;

Where are you buying from? Country, and any preferred websites if you have them.
What is your budget and currency for everything you need(including monitor and peripherals)
What exactly will you be using the system for? What games, if any will you be playing? What else will the system be used for? Any programs like Adobe?
We know you need a system and monitor within budget, but anything else like peripherals(headphones, speakers, keyboard/mouse, etc)?

If you need peripherals, do you have any preferences such as keyboard switch type, LEDs(RGB or not), preferred headset/headphones, or anything else?

Do you have any preferences for the system itself -brand(Intel/AMD/NVidia, storage wise(capacity or speed), aesthetics(LEDs, side window, etc)?

We know you're happy to overclock and looking for an ultrawide monitor so once you answer the questions above as best you can, we can sort you out a nice parts list

Buying from US, preferably from amazon & Newegg, or the cheapest price I can find. I'm including the monitor in my budget of 18/1900. I would also need a keyboard with either cherry mx blue or brown. In my pcpartpicker list I don't have my 1 tb wd blue hard drive which I already own. (I am upgrading from a previous build from 2016).

Well, your parts list is $1800. You won't be getting any ultrawide monitor for $100, never mind a high refresh rate ultrawide.

Okay, so we know you want a keyboard with Cherry MX Blues or MX Browns, an ultrawide, and will overclock. We still need more information.

Do you want RGB LEDs on the keyboard, or don't care? Do you need anything else(mouse, headphones, speakers), if so what?

Again, we need to know what exactly will you be using the system for? What games, if any will you be playing? What else will the system be used for? Any programs like Adobe?

You were looking at an AMD system which leads me to believe you'd prefer a Ryzen CPU, but you haven't told us your preferences or what you'll actually be using the system for so I still can't recommend anything.

I don't care if the keyboard has leds. I own a mouse and audio devices. Prefer Nvidia GPUs, don't know whether or not to go with Ryzen or Intel. There should be info on my ssd on the list. The computer will be used for MS Office programs, other office work programs, and games. I already own a copy of windows 10 as well. If you take a look at the partpicker list, you will see a lot of what you are asking for. Thanks

There's an SSD in your list but I can't tell if it's the best option for you. An NVMe SSD isn't going to be any benefit to you in MS Word.

Actually, it just lets me know which parts you were considering. I have no idea what your intended uses are for the system whatsoever, which is vital information for choosing the right components. I'm trying to help you out here, in my spare time.

Okay, so basic, non demanding office work and some games? Give us an idea of the games? CSGO? Indie games? AAA titles?

Lastly, just to clarify, your maximum budget is $1900 including the monitor and keyboard?

That is correct for the max budget. I will play AAA games and simulators. Sorry for coming off rude.

Alright, well I very much doubt you'll benefit from an SSD so you can easily save money there. Since I'm going to try get a nice ultrawide monitor within budget, I'm going Ryzen 7 2700x with stock cooler. Only went Ryzen 7 because that's what you initiailly had. For office work and some gaming, I'd save the $100 and grab a 2600x instead, or go Intel. Stock 2600x or 2700x cooler will be perfectly adequate for now and it's easy enough to upgrade cooler later

Motherboard is stupid good for the price. Not sure I'd recommend the Strix mobo you were looking at, I'd get this instead if anything;

but that Gigabyte board for $140 is great.

I also included much better RAM. Better timings and it is Samsung B-Die RAM for better compatibility with Ryzen, which will definitely help out on a 2600x or 2700x. Included a 1070Ti because it'll be great for 3440x1440 ultrawide and is better priced than 1080's IMO, but very similar in performance. The 1070Ti I included is very nice and $500-510, but you could probably find a 1070Ti under $500.

Nothing much to say about case and PSU, solid options. Get the windowed version of the case if you want.

Included a 3440x1440 ultrawide IPS monitor @ 75Hz. This thing will last you years and the 1070Ti is a pretty damn good match for it.

For keyboard, probably just grab this;

Nice n simple with MX Blues, the proper switches.

Here's your Intel equivalent just for the sake of it;

Again, just like with the 2700x and 2600x, you can save about $100 by dropping the i7-8700k to an i5-8600k. I reckon any of the 4 CPUs would be fine for you, and you'd probably be hard pressed to notice a difference between them in games at 3440x1440 @ 75Hz. That said, the Intel CPUs are undeniably better for gaming and tasks that use less cores/threads. Anything that is more multi-threaded, Ryzen is better. Ryzen is also more fun to overclock and tweak IMO. Also, with Intel, you will have to buy at least some sort of air cooler.
and here's the Asus alternative mobo if you go Intel;

again, you can get the ROG Z370-F for like 20 quid more than the Prime, but I don't think it's worth it.

Thanks for the help! I didn't even know that the 2600x was available now. Will probably stick with the 2700x though. Wondering if that ssd you had chose has a good lifespan (at least 3 years). Not sure if it was intentional but you had put the fractal meshify case instead of the fractal define r6 which was in my list. Thanks for all your time.
