Hi,
I'm about to build a custom Gaming PC and here is the part list:

My budget is around $1000.
What do you guys think of this setup? Everything compatible? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated!

Oh no, pls. CPU and GPU are alright, rest is pretty bad. Motherboard and cooler are a waste of money on a locked CPU. Spending more than $100 for 8GB RAM is ridiculous, just another waste of money. That PSU doesn't have a price tag, but regardless, it's absolute trash, ot worth $5. Drop the optical drive. The SSD is good, but over-priced at that capacity. You can get a similar 240GB SSD for $15 less ez. Also, you're missing a case.

So, I'm assuming your budget is $1100 for everything(including monitor and any peripherals)?
I gather you need the monitor within budget, but anything else?
Will you be overclocking or not(because you chose an unlocked mobo with a locked CPU)?
Any preferences, like storage wise, style wise or brand wise?
What exactly will the system be used for? What games will you be playing, and what else will you use the system for?

Here's a sort of rough list based on the PCPP you were looking at;

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($178.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($19.99 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($81.86 @ Amazon)
Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($57.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($284.99 @ Amazon)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($24.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($53.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Monitor: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($229.00 @ B&H)
Total: $1001.69

You might want something completely different though so if you answer the questions in my post above, I'll be able to help more accurately.

In this system however, I included a locked i5 with a reasonably priced motherboard and cooler, both more than adequate for the i5-8400. Included an RX 580 because I'd get one of those over a 6GB 1060, especially now that they're finally cheaper again! That said, either an RX 580 or 6GB 1060 will be fine, you wouldn't really regret buying either GPU. Just don't pay more than $300, maybe $305-310 at the very most if it's a really nice model. Also definitely do not get the 3GB GTX 1060. I included a []usignificantly[/u] better quality PSU with semi-modular cables. I also included a case, albeit a very basic/budget case but it has a side window and PSU shroud so it's not the worst.

Lastly, I included a 1440p 60Hz IPS monitor instead of the 1080p 144Hz TN monitor you were looking at, but I can't really properly recommend a monitor until you answer the questions in my post above(mostly what you'll use this PC for and what games you will be playing).

Thanks for the reply.

I will be playing FPS games. And yes, I will be overclocking both RAM and cpu.
I took your comment into deep consideration and here is the updated part list. Help me out here.

I already got the monitor and the gpu (1060 6 GB) so thats fixed. Everything else can still be altered.

You need to buy a cooler for the 8600k. CX550 is a good PSU, but the PSU I suggested is less than $5 more and significantly better, so the CX550 isn't really worth $50. Case is meh, wouldn't pay $50 for it. Again, drop the optical drive, it's 2018. Also, again, don't get the 250GB MX500. It's not worth the $15 extra over the OCZ TR200. If you're going to get an MX500, get the 500GB version for $120. Even then, you can get a 500GB 860 EVO for only $10 more which is a significnatly better SSD.

Your budget has gone from $1k to $1100 to $1250, so I'm just going to go for $1100 including the money spent on GPU and monitor.

Okay, so it's a little over $1100 including the GPU and monitor if you can manage that. Grab 1x8GB for now, so you can easily add another 8GB DIMM in the future. The M9i is a great little cooler but you won't get a great OC out of it with the 8600k. That said, you can always easily upgrade cooler in the future and the M9i is more than adequate for now, even for a little overclocking. I wouldn't bother manually OCing RAM, just set XMP and you're good to go. I've included a much better motherboard with integrated wi-fi. I've also included the better PSU, if you're willing to spend $10, maybe $20 more on PSU you could get a top tier fully modular PSU. I've stuck with the cheapo budget case to try keep cost down. It's great for $25, but it is only $25 so it's pretty bad lol. I'd personally try to spend $60-80 for a nice case, but $40-60 can still get you something pretty decent so if you want some alternative case options, let me know.

So i looked around and since I Live in India, the OCZ TR200 is not available anywhere. It's avalable on amazon.in ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) but it's gonna cost me extra $50 than mx500 due to import fees. SO, i think I'll stick with the mx500 for now. Same with the psu, not available where I live.

Thanks for adding the cpu cooler, i couldnt decide on anything until I saw the one you selected. I'll get that.
Also how is that motherboard better? Because I will be getting the T6E tp-link wireless dual channel adapter so no need of Wi-Fi built-in motherboard. And personally, i still think hd3p is better.I think i'll go with the N24 Case only, because I kinda personally like the looks of it.

Alright, so your budget isn't $1000, $1100, or $1250 then. Let's start over.

You're buying in India, can you give us a list of websites you're comfortable buying from in India, even if you're only looking at Amazon.in
Give us your budget, in your currency please, excluding the cost of the GPU and monitor that you already have.
You said you will be overclocking, do you specifically want to or do you not care too much? You might be better with Ryzen or a locked i5.
Give us an idea of the games you will be playing please. As well as what else the system will be used for. This is very important for choosing the right CPU.

You can think what you want, but it's just objectively not better. The AORUS is an objectively better motherboard, far better quality with more features and it looks nicer. The HD3P is a budget board for a reason. If you were in the US, the AORUS board has built in wi-fi and is cheaper(as well as better) than the HD3P and a wi-fi adapter. Though, I'd argue you should be using a wired connection anyway and it's irrelevant, because you're in India so potentially both the HD3P and AORUS mobo's are a bad choice for you.

Websites:
amazon.in
mdcomputers.in
theitdepot.com

Budget without gpu and monitor: $850 or Rs. 58,000

Games I'll be playing: Fortnite, PUBG (FPS)
LoL (MOBA)

Also, I'd like the option to be able to stream if possible.

CPU - 12,000Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
4C/8T, can get the R5 1600, which is a 6C/12T CPU for an extra 3000Rs. Definitely worth it if you can shell out the extra cash.

Motherboard - 8000-9000Rs
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Solid motherboard, but this is a bit pricey for it IMO, and there are 2 cheaper/better alternatives;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Regardless, you're looking at 8000-9000Rs for a motherboard.

RAM - 9200Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Nice high speed RAM, should work well with Ryzen. Went with 1x8GB so you can easily add another 8GB DIMM in the future and still have room for expansion. You can however get the same RAM in 2x4GB instead for an etrxa 1300Rs. Yuo won't see a huge benefit doing that though, at least with a CPU.

Storage - 11,000Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Stupidly good SSD. Absolutely bulletproof. Hoping to pick one of these up for myself. 500GB should last you a while, at least until you can add an extra HDD if necessary.

Case - 8800Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Great case. Looks nice, good airflow. Built in one of these before, loved it, and am looking to upgrade to one myself. That said, you could get a Phanteks Eclipse P400S for the same price which would also be fine, or a Phanteks Eclipse P300 for around 5000Rs if you want a budget option.

PSU - 5700Rs [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I wanted to go with the TX550M, but it's out of stock unfortunately so the CX650M will do. To be fair, you could easily save 2500Rs on the PSU by getting a CX450 instead;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Quality is still perfectly good, and wattage is still fine, but it's non modular so I'd personally just spend a little extra for the semi-modular CX650M. Or grab a Corsair TX550M if you can find one for under 7000Rs.

We're around 48,000Rs for the R5 1600, 9000Rs each for the motherboard, RAM, and case, plus 6000Rs for the PSU. So that left me with about 10,000Rs for storage. So I was really trying to get a nice 480-512GB SSD in there for you. You can easily add an HDD later if you need more storage but if you urgnetly need more storage, you might be better getting a 240-256GB SSD and a 1-2TB HDD.

So roughly 60,000Rs including the 500GB SSD. Remember you can save up to 1000Rs on the motherboard pretty easily, 2500Rs on the PSU, 3000Rs if you drop to the R5 1500X, and could save as much as 3000-5000Rs on case if you really wanted.
