I dropped my iPad on my rug at home. There are no scratches or breaks in the glass. It's the inside that's the problem. Has anyone had this happen to their iPhone/ iPad? Do u have any suggestions for what I should do? Thanks for the help.. here is what it looks like.

Lines in an LCD screen, pretty classic. Something behind it is probably disconnected since you dropped it.
You could try hitting the back a few times, but that could also make it worse and add more lines.
If it's under warranty you can take it to an Apple store and try to get it sorted out, but it's usually pretty difficult to fix.

I don't think you should have thrown your iPad on the ground.
