Budget and currency is $500USD?
Do you need a monitor/keyboard/mouse?
Will you overclock?
What exactly will the system be used for; what games will you be playing and what programs will you be using(Adobe, etc)?
Anything else, any preferences?

Since you need a monitor within budget, Ryzen APU is your best bet. The integrated graphics on the R3 2200G will be fine for old Call of Duty though. You can add a discrete GPU when you have an extra $100-150 if you want. You can upgrade to another Ryzen APU or CPU at any point which means you could go from 4 cores+4 threads to 8 cores+16 threads, but if you upgrade to a CPU, you will need to buy a discrete GPU. Best APU you could upgrade to without needing a discrete GPU would be the R5 2400G for $160 which gives you 4 cores but with SMT, so 8 threads. Buy the motherboard from Newegg, they have them updated and compatible with the Ryzen APUs, but if you buy the motherboard from somewhere else it might not have the updated BIOS. I've included 3 monitors for you to choose from, but only included the price of the cheapest monitor. I'd really try to spend that extra $10-15 for the $100 or $105 monitor, because it will definitely be worth it.
