I'm just wondering does a wifi booster make a different ? Just having low signal coverage , don't wanna run ethernet cables everywhere.

My friend has one and claims it does him justice, though I've tried personally and never really had much luck with one. Boosted me up by a few MBs lol

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want better coverage it'll work fine (dependent upon placement and repeater strength). If you're looking for more bandwidth or to rectify online performance issues a booster isn't the option for you.

I've tried a few different extenders and repeaters. Honestly I'd suggest against wifi enhancers it doesn't usually work well and ruins your down and up speeds. The only thing I can say didn't mess with my internet were power line extenders. I couldn't tell you why, but I'll leave you a link and see if that does you any justice.

My house downstairs had constant issues with my wifi where it would only connect in certain area's. I purchased a TP-LINK Wireless-N300 Range Extender TL-WA850RE and its improved the connection a ton

I would recommend using a powerline adapter. They allow you to connect using a wired connection anywhere in the house by using electrical cables in the house that don't be seen at all.
